December 15, 2020, last eight contract in the scope of Financial Aid Fund for Refugees in Turkey (FRIT) was signed by the Delegation of EU to Turkey with the signing ceremony. Within the framework of these contracts, the ENHANCER Project was expanded to include activities in the field of employment.

Senior Project Manager Pınar Yapanoğlu, who represented ICMPD at the signing ceremony, shared the details of the new component of the project with her speech.

ENHANCER project based on new components will provide grants to SMEs and cooperatives to support the Syrians under temporary protection in Turkey and Turkish citizens regarding socio-economic integration in order to increase their employment opportunities. These activities will be carried out in the cities of Istanbul, Izmir, Bursa, Konya, Kayseri and Mersin among 11 provinces determined by the ENHANCER Project.

With the inclusion of the new component budgeted at 6.2 Million Euros, the ENHANCER Project will be carried out with a total budget of 32.5 Million Euros.
