ICMPD Business Networking Events are organized within the scope of “Enhancement of Entrepreneurship Capacities for Sustainable Socio-Economic Integration (ENHANCER) project”, which is funded by the European Union and implemented by The International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in coordination with the Directorate General of Development Agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye.

The ENHANCER Project, which has been implemented since January 2020, operates in 11 provinces including Adana, Ankara, Bursa, Gaziantep, Hatay, İstanbul, İzmir, Mersin, Kayseri, Konya, and Şanlıurfa, and the total project budget is 32.5 million €.

ENHANCER Project supports the development of entrepreneurship and the creation of new job opportunities with the aim of contributing to socio-economic integration. Throughout the project, several services and support are provided to increase the entrepreneurial tendencies of prospective entrepreneurs, as well as to increase the success and growth potential of newly established companies or companies with growth potential. Since 2021, ICMPD Business Networking Events have been organized to bring entrepreneurs together with major buyers, investors, and funding channels.

In this context, ENHANCER Animation Hackathon will gather 100 participants interested in the world of animation, fostering creativity and innovation in animated content creation, and nurturing connections within the animation industry. The event is scheduled to take place on June 30, 2024, with the intended audience comprising Syrians residing in Türkiye and Turkish citizens.

Participants of ENHANCER Animation Hackathon will attend a panel discussion with leading figures in the animation industry and will benefit from mentoring sessions during the event and in preparation. At the end of the event, teams whose work is deemed successful by the jury will be awarded prizes.
