ICMPD Business Networking Events are organized within the scope of “Enhancement of Entrepreneurship Capacities for Sustainable Socio-Economic Integration (ENHANCER) project”, which is funded by the European Union and implemented by The International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in collaboration with the Directorate General of Development Agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye.

In this context, the ENHANCER Startup-Investor Meeting will bring together 18 registered and commercialized start-ups with investors in Mersin on May 23, 2025 to promote partnerships and investments in the fields of High Technology and Sustainability.

Within the scope of the ENHANCER Start-up-Investor Meeting, in addition to the closed networking session and start-up presentations to investors, the morning session will comprise of an inspirational speech and presentation workshop for all participants interested in High Technology and Sustainability.

This one-day event aims to bring together 150 participants, including start-ups, investors, mentors, and individuals interested in the concept of innovation and the start-up ecosystem.

1. AZAND Health and Technology

AZAND Health and Technology has developed two innovative medical device prototypes under its “Intramedullary Nail-Assisted Locking System” project. These devices support orthopedic surgeries for treating long bone fractures (e.g., arm, femur, leg), making the process more efficient, cost-effective, and suitable for mass production.

Current commercial alternatives include external guides, navigation-assisted targeters, and magnet-based systems.
AZAND aims to redefine orthopedic surgery by offering more accessible and effective solutions in place of expensive and limited systems.

2. Enavolt Energy

Enavolt Energy is a company operating in production, R&D, and engineering within the energy sector. Its main focus areas are lithium batteries and energy storage systems. The company aims to reduce Turkey’s dependency on imports and boost exports through local production.

With its expert team and advanced testing devices, Enavolt develops customizable batteries in terms of design and technical features.

3. Emessa Tech

Based in Konya, Emessa Tech is a startup working on a SaaS-based vehicle tracking system. Its primary goal is to offer a more advanced management panel and adapt the service for structures offering white-label solutions. The company is currently seeking investment and aims to join a technopark to facilitate growth and acquire new clients.

4. Fiyat Deposu

Fiyatdeposu.com is an innovative online platform that connects construction material manufacturers, brands, dealers, and suppliers with contractors, craftsmen, engineers, and architects.

By offering a comprehensive catalog and quotation system, it streamlines the research, comparison, and procurement processes.

Public institutions are restricted to purchasing from standard item lists based solely on position numbers and descriptions, without specifying brands. However, there is currently no platform structured around these item codes. Fiyatdeposu.com fills this gap by providing a categorized database of products and services based on official definitions for both public and private sector professionals.

5. HEF Cosmetics

HEF Cosmetics is a Şanlıurfa-based startup that develops nanotechnology-based natural skincare products using its own formulas. The company conducts its product development activities within a technopark. HEF has significant growth potential, particularly through online sales channels.

6. Junk Design

Junk Design is a sustainable fashion brand that transforms waste materials into stylish and eco-friendly bags. By reusing materials like truck tarpaulins, fire hoses, and seat belts, the brand creates unique designs and promotes sustainability in the fashion industry. In 2024, it enhanced its impact by receiving equipment support through the SEECO Project.

7. MIOTE

MIOTE is an innovative startup that develops AI-assisted maintenance plans to increase machine efficiency by preventing malfunctions in electrical devices.
It collects continuous data from critical electrical equipment such as electric motors and transformers, and uses rule-based algorithms to predict failures and optimize maintenance strategies.

This proactive approach minimizes unexpected errors and enhances operational reliability. MIOTE, which gained attention for its potential, received support from the Çukurova Development Agency in 2022 and achieved commercialization in 2023.

8. PawBooking

PawBooking is an innovative software platform offering reservation, service management, and digital transformation solutions for pet hotels. It enables hotel owners to easily manage rooms, services, and campaigns while providing pet owners with a secure and user-friendly booking experience.

With its loyalty program, subscription model, and detailed analytics tools, PawBooking aims to increase hotel revenues and maximize customer satisfaction.

9. Profsweb

Profsweb is a startup based in Mersin that develops various software applications, including mobile apps. It currently operates through intermediaries working with official institutions and large companies but has the potential to secure investment by establishing direct partnerships with these organizations.

10. Recorto

Recorto was established to address challenges in orthodontic treatment processes. Drawing on academic and clinical experience, the initiative aims to enhance the experience of both patients and specialists.

The startup has developed a mobile application named “Recorto” to make orthodontic treatments—which typically last from one to three years—more effective and user-friendly. In the long term, Recorto aims to expand into other fields such as e-commerce, podcasting, gaming, and event organization within the dentistry and orthodontics sectors.

11. Solider Elektronik

Solider Elektronik is a Gaziantep-based startup operating in automation projects and the production and sale of complete electrical panels. With strategic support and investment, the company has high potential to expand its activities and reach more industrial clients.

12. UnstopFarm

UnstopFarm is an advanced indoor vertical farming system that combines artificial intelligence and automation to enable efficient and sustainable agriculture. Designed to address global challenges in plant cultivation, the system provides high yield, remote control, and space-time optimization.

By integrating its self-developed hardware and software into a single platform, UnstopFarm makes controlled agriculture more efficient, scalable, and sustainable.

13. Vegg Foods

Vegg Foods is an innovative startup that repurposes surplus chickpeas into plant-based egg alternatives (Aquafaba BBYA) and produces gluten-free, vegan, allergen-free, and sustainable by-products (such as hummus flour and hummus sauce).

Based in Mersin, which accounts for over 80% of Turkey’s legume exports, Vegg Foods aims to tackle the industry’s price-oriented challenges by offering high value-added, niche, and sustainable food solutions.
